I am compelled by a need to experiment and analyze. I am driven to discover possibilities. Ι have a no-fear approach to making art and am not bound by rules. I am fascinated with the flux between order and randomness. My artwork is the result of a dialogue between chance and deliberateness. Often the interactions between materials, techniques and ideas come together to produce "magical" results.

Making art is an unfolding process guided by who Ι am. How Ι perceive the painting, changes as Ι change. My subconscious works on problems such as balancing the amount of structure that is needed to focus on the feeling Ι want to express. There are an infinite number of choices, but each one made guides the next decision. A life time of experiences with using a large number of materials, techniques and processes has expanded the number of options. Each of my art works is a glimpse of a captured moment that I've selected and developed to become, for me, an aesthetically satisfying and meaningful one.
